Introducing Cova Forms: Digital Forms Built for Insurance Brokers
Cova Forms turns insurer proposal forms and broker-built forms into digital submissions. It is now in testing with major broking partners ahead of release on Cova Max.
Insurance broking is still full of forms.
Every broker knows the pattern. An underwriter sends a proposal form. A broker forwards it to a client. The client opens it later, gets part way through, puts it aside, asks a question, or sends it back with gaps. The broker follows up, checks the answers, asks for missing information, and then has to turn the whole thing back into something usable.
Forms are not a small operational detail in insurance. They sit right in the middle of new business, renewals, claims, underwriting, and client service. When they work well, momentum builds. When they are slow, the whole process slows with them.
That is why we have been building Cova Forms.
Why Cova Forms exists
Cova Forms is designed to help brokers turn traditional insurance documents into modern digital submission experiences. It takes the forms brokers already deal with every day and helps convert them into cleaner, easier web forms that clients can complete online.
We are now testing Cova Forms with several major broking partners ahead of release. The early feedback has been clear: brokers want this because it solves a real bottleneck in the way insurance work gets done.
The delay between sending a form and getting a completed response is often where opportunities lose momentum. If a client is ready to move, a long or awkward form can slow the process down. If the broker can compress that delay, the brokerage has a better chance of keeping the client engaged, moving faster than competitors, and winning more new business.
What Cova Forms can do
Cova Forms has been built around the practical workflows brokers already have, rather than asking teams to change the way they sell, service, or manage clients.
Turn any underwriter form into a web submission form. Brokers can take insurer proposal forms and create a digital experience that is easier for clients to complete.
Build your own forms. Teams can create their own forms for workflows such as claims, onboarding, renewal information, or internal data capture.
Save responses to Cova Clients. Completed submissions can be stored against the relevant client file inside Cova Clients, keeping records connected to the CRM.
Give end customers a truly digital experience. Instead of asking clients to download, complete, scan, edit, and return documents, brokers can offer a cleaner online flow.
Built for the reality of broker workflows
For many brokerages, the client form process is still held together by email chains, PDFs, Word documents, spreadsheets, and manual follow-up. Cova Forms brings that process closer to the rest of the Cova ecosystem, including Cova Clients and the document management layer attached to each client record.
That matters because forms are rarely isolated. A completed proposal form might support a quote. A claims form might become part of the client record. A renewal questionnaire might trigger a follow-up workflow. When form submissions sit inside the broader client file, the brokerage has a clearer record and less admin to chase.
Why it is part of Cova Max
Cova Forms is a token intensive product. The process of reading insurance forms, understanding structure, helping generate digital versions, and supporting submissions uses significant AI processing. For that reason, Cova Forms will be available as part of the Cova Max plan.
That said, early testing is showing that users see real value in it. The reason is simple: faster forms can mean faster client responses, cleaner data, less rework, and better new business momentum.
A better client experience can help brokers win
Clients increasingly expect digital experiences. They bank online, sign documents online, book services online, and manage important tasks from their phone. Insurance should not feel like a step backwards.
By turning forms into digital submissions, brokers can make the process feel more professional and easier to complete. That experience reflects well on the brokerage, but it also has a commercial impact. If clients can complete forms sooner, brokers can act sooner. If brokers can act sooner, opportunities are less likely to stall.
Cova Forms is currently in testing with selected broking partners, and we are looking forward to bringing it to more Cova Max users soon.
Insurance will always involve collecting the right information. Cova Forms is about making that process faster, cleaner, and more useful for brokers and their clients.
