New Feature, Claims Examples Assistant

We're pleased to announce a new feature, a Claims Examples assistant that helps you find claims examples for different risks, and types of clients.

Bringing Real Insurance Scenarios to Your Client Conversations

We're excited to have launched a powerful new feature in Cova that puts thousands of claims examples at your fingertips. Whether you're explaining cyber liability to an SME or demonstrating the value of management liability to a growing business, you can now instantly access relevant, real-world scenarios that resonate with your clients.

Why Claims Examples Matter

We all know that insurance can feel abstract until a claim happens. Real examples transform complex coverage concepts into tangible scenarios that clients instantly understand. When a manufacturing client can see how a similar business faced a $500,000 product liability claim, or when a restaurant owner learns how a competitor handled a severe business interruption event, the value of proper coverage becomes clear.

How It Works

Simply describe your client's industry and the coverage you're discussing. Cova will provide:

  • Historical claims that match your client's profile
  • Similar scenarios from related industries
  • Summaries of relevant cases where possible and outcomes
  • Carefully constructed hypothetical examples when needed

One caveat too, just before forwarding to clients we'd recommend checking the cases just to make sure the AI hasn't gotten ahead of itself and made things up, but in our testing, the majority of examples it was generating could be directly traced to real cases, real examples and in many cases, ones we knew directly like the infamous Medibank and Optus hacks in recent years.

Try It Today

Next time you're preparing for a client meeting, ask Cova for relevant claims examples by clicking the Claims Assistant tab in the Cova portal. You'll be equipped with compelling stories that turn abstract policies into must-have protection for your clients.
